Summer Quarterly Presentation-Art Showing

The Washington County Historical Society is proud to announce our Summer Quarterly Presentation, featuring an art showing from Little York native artist; Lois Hawn Cunningham.  Numerous examples of her art will be on display for public viewing at the Stevens Museum @ The John Hay Center.  With the $2 museum admission patrons can see several works centered around the artist life and memories of living in Indiana and growing up in Washington County.

The artwork will be on display from Thursday, May 19 to Saturday, May 21, 2016.  The culmination of this event will be on Saturday evening at 6pm, where the artist herself, will lead a guided tour, offering tidbits of information and sources of inspiration on her selected works.  The 6pm showing will be open and free to all historical society & junior historical society members and snacks & drinks will be served.
