The Washington County Junior Historical Society will hold it’s monthly meeting on Saturday, February 25th, at 10am, in the basement of the Stevens Museum. This is the meeting for membership renewals, dues are $10, again this year.
We will continue discussing the early pioneer era of the county and we will be watching a movie entitled, “Like Birds in a Windstorm”, produced by the citizens of the Potawatomi Nation and the Potawatomi Trail of Death Association, over the forced Indian removals in 1838 that led to the regrettable Trail of Death.
Hope to see everyone there! New members are always welcome!
