Due to everyone’s busy summer schedules, the Washington County Junior Historical Society will break for the summer months of June & July, and resume our monthly meetings on August 27th.  We hope you will all have an enjoyable and historic summer vacation!

Please remember, we still hope to see our members at the Indiana Bicentennial events occurring at the Crown Hill Cemetery, on June 17, and the Pekin 4th of July celebration!

When the meetings resume in August, we will begin the introduction to the American Indian history of Washington County and discuss our involvement in the upcoming Old Settlers’ Days festival.
