Indiana Authors Day
September 7th from 3-7PM at The Depot Railroad Museum
Join us for a day with Hoosier authors at The Depot Railroad Museum! A variety of local authors will be attending, including several talented authors from our local Writers Bloc who have been featured in a plethora of contests and publications as well as award-winning Indiana Author, Ray Boomhower!
Mr. Boomhower will deliver a talk entitled, Gemini 3: Gus Grissom, John Young, and the Flight of the Unsinkable Molly Brown which examines America’s quest to place a man on the moon. Boomhower is a Senior Editor at the Indiana Historical Society Press who edits Traces of Indiana and Midwestern History, and has had articles featured in the Wall Street
Journal, Publishers Weekly, and Smithsonian.
The Authors Fair will be from 3PM to 5PM, followed by an introduction to Ray Boomhower by John Hay Center Executive Director Jeremy Elliott at 5:30PM, and Mr. Boomhower's talk at 6PM.
This event is FREE for the public to attend, but be sure to have some change to support our local authors.
